Always in Season

Always in Season examines the case of Lennon Lacy, an African American teen who was found hanging in North Carolina, in 2014. Despite the death being ruled as a suicide, Lennon’s mother, Claudia, believes he was lynched. Claudia moves from paralyzing grief to leading the fight for justice for her son. A post discussion will follow with  Dr. David Fakunle (Chair of the Maryland Truth & Reconciliation  Commission MLTRC) and  Dr. Charles Chavis (School of Conflict Analysis and Resolution S-CAR, George Mason University). Watch the trailer. In partnership with Indie Lens Pop Up Series- MPT/ ITVS, Lillie Carroll Jackson Civil Rights Museum and the Maryland Lynching Memorial Project. Free with museum admission.
