Women's History Month Program: Artist Talk and Workshop with Quilter Joan Gaither


Spend the afternoon with quilter Dr. Joan Gaither examining her various quilts that weave in stories of Maryland’s history, communities, and identity. Museum visitors will have the opportunity to create a sample quilt square about their family after the talk. Visitors are encouraged to bring family photos. In conjunction with the current exhibition Ruth Starr Rose: Revelations of African American Life in Maryland and the World.
