Third Thursday Series: Chelsey Green and the Green Project

Violinist and violist Chelsey Green fuses classical music with popular and original songs in various genres. Chelsey and her ensemble, The Green Project, have been shaking up the live music scene coast to coast in Funk, Latin, Alternative, Hip Hop, Go-Go, and Gospel. Classically soloing at Carnegie Hall at age 16, Chelsey has gone on to perform on the Late Show with David Letterman, the White House Correspondence Dinner Reception, and The John F. Kennedy Center. She's shared the stage with such artists as Roberta Flack and MC Lyte. She is a graduate of The Peabody Conservatory and a former Strathmore Artist-In-Residence.
