The Lewis Museum Welcomes Seven New Board Members

Baltimore, Maryland, September 4, 2018 – The Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History & Culture (Lewis Museum) is adding seven new board members. These talented and highly experienced individuals will utilize their networks to continue the work of the Lewis Museum and fulfill our mission to be the authentic voice of African American art, history and culture in Maryland.

J.M. Giordano, Award-Winning Photojournalist/ Honors Photography Teacher, Baltimore School for the Arts

W. Drew Hawkins, President, EdYouCore Sports & Entertainment
Alma Roberts, Senior Program Manager in Community Benefit, Kaiser Permanente

“Dynamic institutions need dynamic leaders to get them to the next level. We actively sought out key players in art, business, finance and community initiatives to round out our board. It is our hope that their talents and experience will make the Lewis an even stronger player in the museum industry,” says Wanda Draper, Executive Director of the Lewis Museum. Lewis Museum Board Members serve a four year term.
