(57 mins) Making SkyBreak is a behind the scenes look at the creation of Zo!'s latest soul album all in the cloak of his hometown of Detroit City. Through the documentary, explore his hometown of Detroit to learn about Zo!’s humble beginnings, tour his home studio in Washington D.C., and travel to a host of cities from Los Angeles to Raleigh, NC. In this documentary we not only travel the country talking to the artists behind the music, but we delve deep into the beginnings of Zo!'s music career.   A post film discussion will follow about the soul music industry.  This film program is in partnership with the Baltimore International Black Film Festival.
